Justice, Blessing, or Miracle?

On a serious note.

Today, the 24th of April, I was a witness of something very important to me and my family. I was worried to hear of a court hearing with the donors(aka Parents) of my Foster Children. I was worried because they had called this meeting and it was three months earlier than scheduled. I was worried because it had been almost three months from the last time they seen these kids. My witness is that something miraculous happened and my worries changed into shock and disbelief. I witnessed the Parents (aka Donors) relinquish their parental rights for these two kids and officially be no longer there parents according to the state. I can't explain in words how I feel. I am so grateful for this and I am so excited to have these kids in my family.

I want all who reads this that has ever doubted that prayers are answered? There is a supreme being watching over us, he is our Father and he sees all and knows what is best for all of us. He heard my prayers not only last night but he hears me everytime I pray. All I really wanted was that these kids be in a place that would be safe and happy for them. In God's infinite wisdom he has placed them in our home. That leaves alot of responsibility to me and Jessica.

To the parents of these kids I marvel at the strength and courage they must of had to stand before the judge and say that they were giving up their kids and that they did not want to be their parents. I could never do this, and they did. They may never show courage like this again in their lifetime. To them I am greatful that they showed this courage and cared enough about their children that they recognized what was important and knew that they could not be their parents.
Today do I say Justice? Do I say Blessing? or do I say a Miracle? To this question I say "D" All of the above.

What we can learn from Forrest Gump!

Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies of all time. More lessons can be learned from a simple highly complex show like Forrest Gump, than any other show. Watch the original trailer link on the bottom. If you have not seen Forrest Gump ever, you need to watch it Now! One of the funniest parts of the show is when Forrest is in his boat (Jenny) and he sees Lt. Dan on the dock looking at him, Forrest jumps off the boat, swims over and is talking to Lt. Dan. Seconds later his boat slams into the dock next to them and Forrest says "That's my boat!" Funny! Here is my list, if you think of other lines that are funny please comment so I can add them. Enjoy!!!!

Here is my top ten list of things we can learn from Forrest Gump!

#10 Sometimes you just feel like running! Our shoes can take us anywhere!

#9 Sometimes there is not enough rocks!

#8 Sometimes we just need to find Bubba!

#7 Sometimes when we're scared maybe it's our Grandma's dog?

#6 Sometimes going to the white house is not all what it's cracked up to be!

#5 Sometimes sh** happens!

#4 It doesn't matter if you're a smart man as long as you know what love is!

#3 Stupid is as Stupid does is still true!

#2 Life is like a Box of Chocolates, you never really know what you're going to get!

#1 After 15 Dr. Peppers you are going to have to Pee!

O' Behave!?!

O' Behave:
People who know me well, hear me say (o'behave) all the time. I don't know why but that has turned into my calling card. My Mom and Dad are used to it more than anyone else. Sunday night I called my Dad and he told me that he won photo of the week again on the outdoors show on KUTV.com. (http://www.kutv.com/slideshows/default.aspx) (Two Turkeys)and (Desert Bighorn Sheep) and before I could say "O'behave" my dad said it and I said "hey that's my line!" "I knew it was coming" he said.
O'behave comes from the Austin Powers movies. I really despise those shows but I do have to say that line is kind of catchy. (I guess that line is better than my Ace Ventura line using my butt cheeks to assk you a question) My dad really loved that one--NOT!!!!!
I say that line around people at work, with co-workers or with car dealers. It doesn't matter who. Some might think that it shows the level of my intelligence. I figure at almost 35 years old I can say that and not be worried if it makes me sound stupid or non-intelligent.
O'behave is proof that my vocabulary, my memory is focused and remembers more from movies and music. Is that bad, I say not. I remember more from movies than I do about my childhood. I remember movies and music I seen or heard when I was a child. I never had a bad childhood but I remember more from movies than actual childhood events.
So if you hear me say O'Behave just know it is me and that is how I say wow or cool or holy crap or whatever.

P.S. to those who don't like this "O'Behave!!!!!!!!!!!"

Autotrader.com

So I work for Autotrader.com! This is a great company! I have been asked several times by friends and family what I do. So now I am going to explain what I do.

I start work around 7 most days and I sit in front of my computer and I start with e-mail, I try to look at five dealer accounts and see what I can do to help those accounts. I then check my fantasy teams, (NBA, Baseball, NCAA). I then help kids go to the dressed and get them to the bus.

As far as work goes, I sell advertising. I go to car dealers from Preston Idaho to Clearfield UT. Those dealers that are not advertising with me, I try to sell them a package to advertise all of their cars. I share stories, facts and numbers to get them to sign up. To advertise with me it is pretty cheap. Packages start as low as $700 a month to advertise up to 25 cars. I have some dealers spending $3500 a month. Current dealers I try to train and help them do good, but I also try to upsell them to a bigger package.

Last month was the month that all my dealers needed to renew their contracts with me. I have 44 accounts and I had to go and get more money from them. I swear I felt like I was trying to get blood from a turnip!!! I had one dealer cancel over a matter of $30.00 He felt Autotrader was to big for there britches! He spends $750 a month and last month he sold 7 cars from me and an average gross of $2000 a car. My Math says he made $14,000 from me. I'll take that bet in Vegas anyday. So he quit and he will be back. It will cost him $100.00 more when he does.

I am very flexible with my schedule and that is what I like about it. Jessica likes that as well. I make a pretty good wage.

Now everyone knows what I do, please comment and follow my links. Autotrader.com averages almost 14 million a month on their site. Pretty crazy huh?
