.11 Cents!?

What can you buy for .11 Cents? Not Much! You need .12 for a .10 cent candy? So I guess what is the value of .11 cents? To a 6 year old it is worth more than a million bucks! I know it sounds weird but let me explain.
Jacksen is part of the Lost boys club which includes all the boys, except Mom because she is a girl and she was gone. The Lost boys were at Wal-Mart shopping and Jacksen had to buy a water jug so he could water the flowers. Why? I know not? Anyway Jacksen had $1.50 to buy something, he bought the jug and was proudly walking out of Wal-mart with his jug and he had some change left over. (.43 cents to be exact). As the Lost boys and I were walking to the car I looked back and Jacksen was no where to be found. I waited with the other Lost Boys and a few seconds later, here came Jacksen with his Purple Water Jug and his head hung low and a tear in his eye. I said "Jacksen are you okay?" He said "Dad I lost .11 cents" I was thinking in my mind whoopty doo! .11 cents who cares. But I had a rare Father moment and I waited until he stopped crying and then I started the van with Jacksen still crying and I drove over to the sidewalk where Jacksen lost his money. I stopped and I got out with Jacksen and Trajan and we started combing the sidewalk for .11 cents. I found the penny right off and in the darkness I finally spotted the dime. I motioned to Jacksen to come over and claim his Dime. He rushed over and he was the happiest kid on the whole planet. He whoopt and hollered and carried on just as if he found a million dollars. He put his prize in his pocket and we started home, and he said "Dad thanks for stopping!" I guess I learned a "valuable" lesson his .11 cents was worth every penny?

Don't blame the kid blame the Dad!?

Dad's sometimes struggle with color coordinating clothes, I do as proof of this photo of Jacksen. I need to explain the outfit first.
#1. The Hair, messy yet cute.

#2. The shirt before I fixed it it was buttoned wrong.

#3. The Camo Shorts!? is not Camo the new Black? Camo goes with everything! right?

#4. The Socks this one is the kicker to the outfit, their Black and spotted, careful examination will show the socks are actually inside out!

#5. The Shoes, they are kind of like the Staples Commercial which says "That was easy"

So I guess I failed in my coordinating skills today but oh well at least he had a good breakfast! COLD CEREAL!!! (That was easy).

So don't blame the kid blame the dad.

Campaign Signs?

After my wife's recent post I have to give my own version of Campaign Signs. I have one Campaign Sign on my front lawn. This sign serves one purpose for me. This sign gives me the opportunity to turn off the lawn mower and move it, mow over the spot then re-plant the sign again. I just have to say what a wonderful opportunity for me.
I don't have alot of experiences in politics, I used to vote for Republicans. It didn't matter who were running and what they said. I just checked the box. Well I have a Morgan Bowen sign on my lawn (see above) I have looked into some of the things he has said. I think he will be a stronger person than the person he is running against. (Rob Bishop) I don't like School Vouchers, I like Credit Unions and I hate to see Nuclear Waste in Utah. If Bowen is against this, than I will vote for him! It doesn't matter if he is a Republican or Democrat or whatever else.
I am currently not involved in the political arena (I leave that to my wife) I do try to see some points of views and I currently throw any party affiliation out the window. In the end I hope the best Man or Woman gets the job. And thats all I have to say about that!
