A silly Game?

1. Add a comment on my blog about one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot just do anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play, suit yourself.

Come on now don't be shy!

Sting!

On July 19th, I was stung not by a bee but by The Police and Sting of course. What an Awesome event!!!! I went to the concert with MY lovely wife Jessica and our friends the Gibbons, When Roxanne was sung of course Roxanne went nuts, Sting did an awesome job on that song. Other greats were Wrapped around your finger, don't stand so close to me and king of Pain! All were awesome, I stood most of the time and was hoarse when I got back to the hotel.

Sting did awesome on all of the songs. I of course liked Message in a bottle which opened the show and Every Breathe you Take was unbelievable to me. Sting has got some lungs on him and can really belt it out, he also is very creative in the way he will sing a song. He was a true artist, and he was very brillant, amazing, awesome, wonderful. I'm running out of adjectives. The drummer (Stewart Copeland) almost stole the show, he was amazing. He had nearly a dozen different percussion instruments besides his drums that he was clanking and plunking the whole time. He even had a huge gong. Stewart was running and pounding those drums with such force but it sounded so awesome. The guitarist (Andy Summers) was also incredible. He played with little effort and to stay with Sting as he added his little rifts and changes to the songs he did an excellent job.

The Hotel we stayed at was a disaster, never stay at an extended stay hotel! "holy s***" I should of stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. The king Bed was nice because I didn't fight with Jessica about the room on the bed. Dinner was wendy's, it could have been worse!! but, breakfast was okay, I have had my yearly visit to I-hop. WOW! Anyway I am home and I am still rocking out in my mind with Sting and the Boys. I am glad I went.

New house new dog

It seems as a new home owner that the next thing to get is a dog, I guess in our case that is. We promised the boys years ago if we were to get a house with a backyard we would get a dog. So now we have a house with a fenced back yard and so now we get a dog. Kramer is the newest member of the family and he has been fun.
Kramer was a dog we adopted from Petsmart adoptions on Saturday. Kramer came in with all these barking, nipping, noisy and crazy looking dogs. Kramer was quiet and did not bark. He has barked maybe 4 or 5 times since we had him. We need a doggy door for the mudroom to the backyard, but has been fun, It freaked me out the first time he put that cold nose on me in the early hours of the morning.
So I guess i'm a pet owner and it has been fun and I really enjoy it for now.

The Man Trip

The man trip is the annual trip to Blind Lake on the Boulder Moiuntains in Southern Utah. My family has been going for 17 years now. My dad is the reason we keep going, he started it all.

The man trip means no girls, and thank goodness for that. they would never want to go back and we would have to fight like heck to go back ourselves. Trajan my nine year old who made his first journey on the man trip said" All we did around the fire was burp and fart!" He made his mark just as much as anyone else. This year was mild compared when we eat Mutton for one of the meals.

This years one liner was "La Quinta Spanish for_____________!" My Brother Austin led the assault with that phrase there was some really funny ones that he kept on saying. Some of them were La Quinta Spanish for Bumpy Roads, or this stuff smells like s**t.
Over all the trip was awesome, my waders had a hole in the buttocks and I had a wet Butt two of the three days, there is nothing worse than a wet Butt. At one time I just got back on the shore and I was changing and Trajan got a bite and I was helping him real in the fish half naked, I am so glad my Dad didn't have his camera for that one.
