My Kids!!!

Life comes at you Fast!?

With Memorial day past and gone, I am left reflecting on a couple of things. July 2nd is my birthday and it is also the birthday of Curt (Father-in-law). This day is also imporant because it is the day that Simon Mitchell Littlefield was born as a stillborn. Simon never made it into this world and he never shared a day in the sun or ever jumped on the trampoline or ever got a kiss good night from his Mom and Dad. Yet Simon lives on, he is a special spirit, he completed his earthly mission in life. He received his body. He has blessed my life with his own. You see when I found Simon had died, it came at a time I was struggling with my beliefs, (those who know me may find that hard to believe) I was struggling and I was tested everyday on my faith. This moment in my life came as a blessing to me and it has helped me strive to be a better person. I have no doubt in my mind that Simon is working with his Heavenly Father and one of his jobs is to watch over me.

In July of 2006, Anderson Littlefield a son and Stillborn entered into our lives. He was buried side by side of Simon and He once again showed me something very important. He showed me Heavenly Father has a plan and he loves all his children and some children have special work to do. Anderson is one along Simon. Those boys are going two by two teaching every nation, kindred and tongue, to those spirits that await there final judgement. I can see them as poweful forces teaching those that need the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love my Simon and Anderson! They will always be a part of me.

After Anderson was born some genetic testing was done with Jessica and the test showed that she had a rare blood clotting disorder. This disorder is bad in pregnancy. In fact a successful birth can happen 22% of the time. I am glad that I have two kids that overcame that 22% odds. These are Trajan and Jacksen! 22% is what was overcome by these two boys. They are special boys and they equally balance out my family.

Trajan has swallowed a Penny Twice! Jacksen has broke his arm falling off the tramp. Trajan is very gifted at music and baseball. Jacksen is gifted at numbers and time keeping, as well as whatever sport he puts his mind too. Jacksen is very good putting puzzles together, good for a kid who apparently has ADHD. Trajan is great at spelling and is like a sponge soaking in and wringing out information at any given time.

Braxton and Caleb are two special boys who came to our house via the Foster Care Network. Caleb came first and he has called me dad and Jessica mom from day one. Caleb has really grown into our family and when he has on Jacksen's hand me down clothes on he looks and acts like a part of the family. He is and I view him as nothing less than a part of my family. Braxton is going to be my wrestler and line backer in Football. He is so strong and Stout! He has developed into a great son and I love to hear him call me Dad! Braxton and Caleb are Littlefield's and in October they will be officially.

So my Family! most of the time there is alot of disorder and chaos but amongest the rubble you find a family of parents and children that have faced adversity head on and has survived and continues to survive. Jessica is the one that really holds my family together, If I ever make it to the Celestial kingdom it will be by her coat tails. She is a great example of a true believer in Jesus Christ. Everyday I thank my Heavenly Father for a sweet spirit that leads me carefully by the hand. Thanks Jessica for all you do! I love you!

May god shine upon you and each of you in your everyday lives. Because to me the sun is shining brightly!
