Just a Little Tribute!

On August 23, 2008 I was sad to hear of the passing of Jessica's Grandma. Glenda Sparrow. I feel bad because the last week she was alive, I didn't take my boys down to see her. Jessica went with one of the boys. I guess I kept saying to myself "I don't want to fight those boys at her home at the Legacy House and chase them all over the place, so I will just stay home" Now there is nothing I can do to rectify that! I am glad Jessica got to go and see her. She died peacefully and she went after she had had a bath and was fully dressed and had her hair done. She wouldn't of wanted it any other way.
Now I guess all I can do is pay tribute to a person I thought was a very nice lady. She did funny things, as all of us do funny things. One of my first memories was Mowing her lawn. Jessica and I did it and I guess we did a horrible job? anyway I guess we got fired from that. the $20 bucks sure helped on gas to get us back to Cedar City. I also remember she had a cold one time I was there, and she would pull a tissue from out of nowhere, like Magic! to wipe her nose. I finally spotted the trick and the tissues were being stuffed down her shirt. I guess it's a good thing I didn't have a cold!
I will miss this lady, she got a little funny and had a hard time moving, and remembering in the end, but she is now at rest. So now I bid her a fond farewell. I will miss you!
Here is the obituary notice:

Do you remember when it only took $20 of gas to get to CV from Cedar? LOL!
